A Fresh Approach To Revolutionizing A Stalwart Brand

With a rich heritage steeped in creating top-tier natural stone products, Espinoza Stone exemplifies an impressive legacy. Their comprehensive product offering encompasses dimensional building stone, architectural stone elements like columns and fireplaces, modular stone kits, landscape and decorative stone, cement, and concrete. Since its inception in 1996, Espinoza Stone has diligently forged a reliable and reputable brand within the building materials industry.

In launching Espinoza Stone's brand, I collaborated with the marketing team to create the OurMasterPlan campaign to captivate customers and prospects. We began with a six-month buildup, leading to the release of the Product Guide in late spring, showcasing the entire product lineup. Then, we launched the redesigned website later that year in the early fall season.

Through competitive analysis and user experience research, we identified two persistent challenges: frustrating website navigation and disorganized product information. Competitive analysis revealed the same pain points.

In the iterative web development phases, we improved product organization and navigation, receiving positive feedback from test users. We strategically placed CTAs on every product page for easy customer engagement.

The print catalog followed a user-friendly approach with neatly categorized products, serving as a valuable reference guide for end-users. Our print, digital, and social advertising campaigns generated interest among prospects and customers, leading to new leads through chat, social media, and QR codes on print ads.

Their web app, Espinoza Profiles, a home design and visualization tool I developed in collaboration with Renoworks Software, is in the final design and testing stages.

In 2022, the product guide earned a Gold award, while back in 2017, the visualizer web application Profiles debuted to win a Platinum award at the Hermes Creative Awards. Adding to this accolade streak, the redesigned website secured a 2023 Award of Design Excellence from Graphic Design USA magazine's 60th Annual American Design Awards. It stood out among 700 entries in the web design category, emerging triumphant from a total pool of over 9,000 entries.
